The Association of Trade Fair and Event Organisers in Finland represents the vast majority of Finnish trade fair organisers. The Association was founded in 1996 in order to improve the general operating conditions of the business and promote the co-operation between trade fair companies.
Initially the name of the association was The Finnish Union of Trade Fair Organisers. In 2017, the name was changed as the significance of different events grew in membership activities.
The members of the association are: Easyfairs Finland, Expomark Oy, Housing Fair Finland Co-op, Jyväskylä Fair Ltd, Lahden Messut, MediaPro Finland Oy, Messukeskus Helsinki, Expo and Convention Centre, North Finland Fair, Pohjanmaan Expo Oy – Expo Österbotten Ab, Tampere Trade Fairs Ltd, The Turku Fair and Congress Center.
The total turnover of the member companies is EUR 100 million and the companies employ 450 permanent employees.
The goals of the Association
The main goal is to represent, promote and support the exhibition industry in Finland and enhance the co-operation between trade fair companies. The association aims to develop trade fairs as a marketing media, train and support exhibitors and develop training and research in the business.
The members of the Association are committed to sharing reliable media information on their events. MediaAuditFinland provide impartial, reliable and comparable data auditing trade fairs on the basis of the collaborative agreement formed with the association.
